Meet Taylor Nash, PE, Founder and Principal Engineer
Taylor Nash is the founder and principal engineer of HomeWorthy Engineering, PLLC. A licensed professional engineer in North Carolina and South Carolina, he has years of experience designing, inspecting and analyzing structures, providing his clients with practical, innovative solutions to best suit their needs.
Before opening HomeWorthy Engineering, PLLC, Taylor worked for and was mentored by Mike Leonard, PE, of M.H. Leonard Consulting Engineers. Mike is one of Charlotte's most esteemed structural engineers, with decades of structural engineering, building and general contractor experience.
Before moving back to his hometown of Charlotte, Taylor earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Georgia Tech, with a concentration in structural engineering.
After graduating, he worked in the oilfield as a field engineer and new technology implementation engineer. In this career, he learned the value of designing and planning sensible solutions to complex problems with clear, concise directives. As an engineer, Taylor prides himself on providing solutions that consider not only technical aspects of the project, but also potential costs, invasiveness to life and property, accessibility, material availability, and timeline.
When he's not helping clients protect their property, Taylor spends time hiking and camping with his wife, Jessie, and their dog, Oakley. His hobbies also include woodworking, where - just like in his professional life - he enjoys watching a project transform from an idea into something unique and tangible.
